The Wheel of Passion by Nassim Ismaila

This word has over societal changes, changes in the tides of generations and understanding, always been misunderstood to mean having love for something, a deep desire for a skill or trade or sport. It should not be held against humanity for the misunderstanding of the meaning of certain words, for while we all seek for understanding, we most times do not find it eventually.

The word 'passion' referred to "a deep, strong emotion towards anything or anyone" that thing that drives a footballer back to the pitch after undergoing a surgery for an injury sustained on the pitch, what's makes a writer constantly comeback to the keyboard or typewriter despite sore eyes, a tired mind and an empty pocket, that is what can be referred to as a passion. The emotional disposition by strength should not be misrespresented with the instinct to survive, that drives the security guard back to his post despite his loathing of the job, these both are dispositions of emotions, what varies or seperates them is the degree of push that each emotion gives . For while the force per disposition of passion is strongly felt, even to the point of loosing track with certain natural obligations, the force of that which would be the instinctual desire to survive does not drive the individual to the points of mental dissociations.

Being an emotion, it can be argued that passion could well be influenced by the disposition of emotion acted upon or felt at a period dependent on the strength of the emotion at the time which it Is felt, however a question may arise about the consistency of such said emotions per strength and the amount of reoccurrence as regards being called passion or not. Take Alvin and Kate for instance, Alvin has noticed a 'strong feeling' whenever he sees Kate, Alvin even knows the scent of Kate's perfume from a mile away, he knows the daily routine of Kate, he knows that she wakes up at 6 to start cleaning her apartment, 6:30 she's at the sink doing the dishes, the window which faces Alvins' from his own building, Alvin uses this time to watch Kate while he pretends to do imaginary dishes,  sometimes the occasional 'good morning' might exchange and this sends shock waves through Alvins being. At 7:30 Kate is done and dressed for work and Alvin, a graphics designer, takes the moment to watch her leave her house and on to the road she walks to get a bus, by 5:30 Kate returns home, somedays its hard to get a bus or taxi to her stop, so she walks, on these days a 30minutes drive turns into an hours walk, and Alvin restlessly goes back and forth from his computer to the window, forgetting to eat or to even acknowledge the thirst that his anxiety has caused for him, until he sees the slow catlike walk of Kate from a distance, then he smiles and feels more at ease, the object of his deep desire has returned to calm him, ease his worry and make everything bright from the imaginary world that they share in Alvins beautifully crafted existence.

Alvins case is what most forensics would easily tag as a red flag bordering psychopathic disorders, this however is what shall term here the 'strong emotion or feeling towards a thing, person or activity'.

Is it 'passion' for the skill trade that has created serial killers over time? Would Alvins case be termed "obsession, infatuation or passion", or are they all in the same band wagon being driven with emotional speed by the stagecoach driver 'Emotion' first name 'Strong'? .

Positive Vibes Only by Ismaila A. Nassim

This is a term we have seen many times and used ourselves. It denotes that the person only wants positivity around them, hence, anything that will cause negativity should be shunned, avoided, or at best not given attention too, this is a good thing emotionally, because it shows that the person who wants 'positive vibes only' has reached a level of self awareness emotionally, and can judge between positive (good) and negative (bad) vibes (energy) and hitherto, wants to work a way of pulling positivity and pushing negativity away, it will not come as a surprise to know that the person wanting 'positive vibes only' around them, has had too much of negative vibes around them and hence in them, and have reached an awareness of this negativity around and within that they want it done away with and the only way they see fit to do or achieve this is by having positivity around them at all times, because the external stimuli of an individual's environment determines what th...

The Depression Of The 21st by Ismaila A. Nassim

"The world is changing, I feel it in the water, I feel it in the earth, I smell it in the air, much that once was is lost, for non now live who remember it" _ Lord Of The Rings- the fellowship of the rings - 2001. Emphasis can not be over stated on the awareness of the growing rate of depression in this century, depression here being ‘a mental state characterized by a pessimistic sense of inadequacy and a despondent lack of activity’ a depressed person is plagued by ‘sad feelings of gloom and inadequacy’. But why is there an increase in this abnormal mental state? Is it the advancement in data collection that has been acquired over the centuries that has brought this into light being that it’s not an increase but the same statistics only now known because the means of data collection and collation has been upgraded or advanced? Or perhaps it is indeed a growing enigma that needs to be studied and understood from its root cause? And if so what is the root cause for the rise i...

The Original Origin by Ismaila A. Nassim

The origin of a thing, refers largely to “the place where something or the thing in question begins, where it springs into being”, the first stage or part of a sequence of events. It means from that point onwards the thing begins to exist, it is therefore referred to as the original, being the authentic product of the item or thing, for an example: If the audio recording of a music is made, the music has been at that point documented and hence created and brought into existence, this is the original sound. This original has a limitation however, of duplicity, because to be an original means to stand alone, hence the need for duplicates.  The ‘fault in the stars’ of a duplicate however is, it falls short of the original, being itself a copy of the original. A duplicate of a thing is not the original thing, the purpose of a duplicate is for it to seem like the original, the constant striving to achieve making a duplicate seem like the original is the main reason why the duplicate ...
