The Original Origin by Ismaila A. Nassim

The origin of a thing, refers largely to “the place where something or the thing in question begins, where it springs into being”, the first stage or part of a sequence of events. It means from that point onwards the thing begins to exist, it is therefore referred to as the original, being the authentic product of the item or thing, for an example: If the audio recording of a music is made, the music has been at that point documented and hence created and brought into existence, this is the original sound. This original has a limitation however, of duplicity, because to be an original means to stand alone, hence the need for duplicates.  The ‘fault in the stars’ of a duplicate however is, it falls short of the original, being itself a copy of the original. A duplicate of a thing is not the original thing, the purpose of a duplicate is for it to seem like the original, the constant striving to achieve making a duplicate seem like the original is the main reason why the duplicate ...

Positive Vibes Only by Ismaila A. Nassim

This is a term we have seen many times and used ourselves. It denotes that the person only wants positivity around them, hence, anything that will cause negativity should be shunned, avoided, or at best not given attention too, this is a good thing emotionally, because it shows that the person who wants 'positive vibes only' has reached a level of self awareness emotionally, and can judge between positive (good) and negative (bad) vibes (energy) and hitherto, wants to work a way of pulling positivity and pushing negativity away, it will not come as a surprise to know that the person wanting 'positive vibes only' around them, has had too much of negative vibes around them and hence in them, and have reached an awareness of this negativity around and within that they want it done away with and the only way they see fit to do or achieve this is by having positivity around them at all times, because the external stimuli of an individual's environment determines what th...

Infamous Vanity by Nassim Ismaila

Two friends where having a chill discussion over a couple bottles of beer, "life is hard" say the one, "how do you mean" asks the other?, "Well we are born to die, and while we live we are constantly reminded that we will die" says the one, "it's a vicious circle", says the other. "We die to live, when we inadvertently live to die" says the one, "careful!" Says a bystander, "it might end up happening sooner for you if you keep saying that, for we are what we say." All ideas are conceptualized in the mind, all speech also have their basic construct in the mind for all speech come from a pre-construct of conceptual perception externally as created by the mind internally, the mind being the refinery of these concepts before they are sent down the ladder to be produced as sound hence words, "I think, therefore I am" these infamous words are a topic for argumentation on another platform, but for us to ...

Maturely Blemished by Nassim Ismaila

To hold two conflicting ideas in ones mind and yet to still remain ungoverned by any, this is the sign of true maturity. The point when one has reached full development which covers mental, physical, sexual, emotional development, when all these aspects of a person has been developed then we can say the person is mature or has reached maturity. The writer, however begs to differ on the grounds that maturity is not of an objective process than a subjective, being that the yardsticks for the calculations of maturity and immaturity have faulted in their construct of the processes of determining a mature and immature individual. Human society has over time, loved to find standard separations of defining things.  Between the lines of right and wrong, good and bad, light and darkness, rich and poor and so on, but the fact that defining lines are there do not mean that what falls on either side deserves to be on that side because it has not met the threshold of human constructed judgem...

The Wheel of Passion by Nassim Ismaila

This word has over societal changes, changes in the tides of generations and understanding, always been misunderstood to mean having love for something, a deep desire for a skill or trade or sport. It should not be held against humanity for the misunderstanding of the meaning of certain words, for while we all seek for understanding, we most times do not find it eventually. The word 'passion' referred to "a deep, strong emotion towards anything or anyone" that thing that drives a footballer back to the pitch after undergoing a surgery for an injury sustained on the pitch, what's makes a writer constantly comeback to the keyboard or typewriter despite sore eyes, a tired mind and an empty pocket, that is what can be referred to as a passion. The emotional disposition by strength should not be misrespresented with the instinct to survive, that drives the security guard back to his post despite his loathing of the job, these both are dispositions of emotions, wh...

Guardian of the Flies by Nassim Ismaila

The word 'guardian' has a broader definition than to just 'watch over', the word and the concept behind 'guardian' encompasses broadly 'stewardship' that is to say a person that has been giving full right and authority over the property and affairs of another, this then means that a steward has the full right as the owner to take care, watch over, rule over and direct as the case maybe the property of the one that handed the responsibility over to them. A steward or guardian should then be a trusted hand to his master so much that the master has in him, no doubt that the task of guardianship handed over will be carried out to the fullest capability as he the master would do to his property or affairs, if it so happens that the guardian falls short of his masters trust, an equal resulting punishment should be metered out on the guardian for not equaling the expectations of the master.  There is here the story of a father who loved his son deeply,...
